BSN, Nursing , 1975-1979

I was diagnosed with BvFTD when I was 48 years old. On several medications to control my behavior and out of control emotions. I was told that I had 3-5 years to live, that was 15 years ago. My journey has interesting, overwhelming, and an emotional roller coaster. I am a retired nurse, graduating with a BSN from Loma Linda University. I am married to my husband for 38 years. We have twin boys that are both ER doctors. We have two grandchildren. I enjoy movies, reading, music, and my cat. I have a hamster also. I have taken up writing articles and recently published a book on volunteerism.
