Born and raised in a large family in Nazareth Texas. My parents' number one priority was family and teaching us to have morals and values in life. I left home in 1990 and received my License and Bachelors Degree in Social Work. I began my career with The Texas Protective and Regulatory Services. I took a break from social work as I began my family; however, when my Dad became sick and needed more assistance he encouraged me to start a Personal Assistance Service for Seniors to help preserve their home life providing them with security and stability. In January 2011, I opened the doors to True Blessings in which we began providing basic Activities of Daily Living for seniors in their own home or in their community. I love what I do and I treat it more like a ministry than a job. Through the years I have become very passionate about assisting families with loved ones living with dementia and have attempted to educate myself more and more so I can be an asset to the families. I believe being a certified trainer for the Positive Approach to Care will help myself, my caregivers and my community understand and embrace our loved ones living with dementia.
