The ABC’s of Dementia and Caregiving with Teepa Snow, MS, OTR/L, FAOTA
This session is designed to help learners understand the definition of dementia, and some characteristics of the most common forms of dementia. Attendees will also discover the many brain changes associated with dementia, and how those changes affect function and behavior. Techniques and methods for improving caregiving situations will also be discussed. By recognizing and using this information, learners can have more positive interactions with those living with dementia.
This session will be interactive and will provide learners with valuable insights into their role in dementia care.
