What is Teepa Up to Now?
Teepa will be leading our two-day Consultant Certification Course in Syracuse, NY this Monday and Tuesday. If you are trying to guide and support families, staff members, team members, or communities in providing the just right care, in changing how each person gets and gives support, and in our relationships with one another, the PAC Certified Consultant could very well be the right knowledge and skill role for you! When Teepa finishes the Certification, she will join Clarke Pollard, Carolyn Luckert, and the Alzheimers Support Network Team for a FREE open session for care partners and people living with dementia on with an opening focus on Is it Time for Us to Separate or to Bring in Someone Different? On Tuesday evening, after the Cert Course, Teepa will be over in Utica NY for a program sponsored by Caregivers Connections from 6-7:30. This is a follow up engagement, based on a program she offered at Utica College earlier this year.
Wednesday finds Teepa working with a community in Liverpool. NY for the day then flying out later in the evening to head to Detroit for a two day work session with UMRC in Chelsea, MI.
- Teepa will be speaking for UMRC in Howell, Michigan on next Friday, May 24th. This event is open to the general public and professionals in the region! The last week of May will find Teepa in Rocky Mount on Tuesday, May 28th for a ½ day program on Fall Risk Reduction.
Then she is off to Sacramento, California where Teepa will be working with PESI in on May 30th. The topic is: Dementia: Individualized Care Techniques to Support Nourishment and Hydration. If you are interested in helping others develop the skills and habits that change care behaviors and culture, then you might want to consider one of our Coach Certification Courses. We are offering one program next week in Salt Lake City. PAC Mentors will lead day 1 for your own skill development and then Teepa will be part of the team that helps you develop your coaching abilities on day 2 of the program.
