Live Webinar:  Bathing Challenges - Exploring OUR Role for a Person Who Communicates…Distress…

Bathing Challenges - Exploring OUR Role for a Person Who Communicates Disagreement or Distress with Actions More than Words

This event will run from 3:30pm - 5:00pm ET.

This session is focused on working with someone who does not appreciate, understand, or see the value of getting clean when it involves another person assisting or helping them. It addresses common errors or mistakes that we might be making in our efforts to support and communicate that trigger strong and physical reactions. It also emphasizes the possibility of missed cues and indicators of escalating distress, confusion, or efforts to stop or slow actions. We will compare common interactions and outcomes to more positive and effective engagements and results. The session will feature action simulations and case discussions with demonstration of specific supportive techniques and strategies.
