Mary Lee

+ Lead Outreach Coordinator

Mary has a passion for empowering families and caregivers. She embarked on this career due to her personal experiences in caring for her Mom for 6 years who had Alzheimer’s. After hearing Teepa Snow in 2011 she knew her Positive Approach™ philosophy was the model of  care and education she had been looking for. The awareness, knowledge and skills she learned  empower her as a Dementia Care Specialist. In addition to being an Advocate for those living with dementia, Mary was asked to be a Support Group Facilitator and has for 5 years for The SC Chapter of The Alzheimer’s Association. She has also served for 6 years on The Walk To End Alzheimer’s committee. Mary worked in the field of senior in-home care for 4 years, training CNA’s and coaching families using Teepa’s Positive Approach™ philosophy. Now caring for her dad, who has Alzheimer’s, she is ever mindful of the beneficial power of embracing a positive approach to dementia care. Mary feels she is fulfilling her personal calling in becoming a member of Teepa’s company, Positive Approach, LLC. She is honored to be a part of the PAC Team as Marketing and Outreach Coordinator. Mary lives in Greenville, South Carolina with her husband, George. She is an avid dog lover currently owning two rescues Louie and Murphy, and also a rescued feral cat named Lily.
